The Chapel at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital was a complete renovation of the existing chapel that Aesthetics, Inc. originally designed in the 1980s.

The time had come to modernize the space utilizing some of the original design components into the redesign. Aesthetics was inspired by the natural elements of the desert and valley surrounding the hospital. The design team focused on custom casework and architectural features as well as selected and specified finishes, lighting, artwork and accessories.

A major component of the redesign included incorporating the existing stained glass panels into the space and commissioning a glass artist to create a companion piece at the entrance of the Chapel.
