Check out the work by artist, Sean Cassidy Aesthetics recently had installed in the Tower Lobby at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. These paintings have a theme of the Back Bay neighborhood and are created on top of printed aerial maps which Cassidy calls “Mapscapes”. Sean layers thin glazes of oil to create an ethereal quality that begins to explore the nature of the human psyche. Sean enjoys the activity on the streets of the Back Bay. There are many people from all walks of life that are interesting. This diversity makes for a fascinating array of colors, shapes and contrasts to paint.
